PERMA FILM is a single-component anti-corrosion protective coating that forms a durable protective layer against moisture, salt, oxygen, and rust formation. It is designed for long-term protection of metal surfaces in combination with Fluid Film products, including the treatment of metal components on vehicle underbodies.
Application: PERMA FILM is a long-lasting anti-corrosion protective coating that forms a durable barrier against moisture, salt, and rust formation. It is suitable for protecting metal structures and vehicle underbody components against corrosion.
Application Instructions: Before application, clean the surface to remove dirt, salt, loose rust, and flaking coatings. For additional protection, a thin layer of FLUID FILM LIQUID A can be applied first, allowing it to penetrate residual rust and pores in the metal.
PERMA FILM can then be applied using a brush, roller, or spray gun. It is recommended to apply two coats, allowing the coating to dry (approximately 24 hours) depending on the ambient temperature. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying.

Application

- On heavily corroded or difficult-to-prepare surfaces, a very thin layer of FLUID FILM LIQUID A can be used as a pretreatment.
- PERMA FILM can be applied using a brush, roller, or airless sprayer.
- For optimal protection, it is recommended to apply two coats with a total dry film thickness of approximately 250 μm.
- Application is possible even at low temperatures, starting from approximately 0 °C.
- The coating dries through solvent evaporation. Adequate ventilation must be ensured during drying.
